It’s your ideas, visions, and dreams that will be implemented and brought to life. We want to know what is essential to you in creating the home of your dreams.
Do you have a big family?
Do much entertaining?
Like to stay home and watch movies or sports?
Do you enjoy the outdoors?
Do you spend much time in the kitchen?
Get the idea? Creating a functional space around you and your families’ lifestyle is our goal.
If you have a floor plan in mind, even if it’s something you’ve hand-drawn, our designers will begin creating your space. Cathedral Homes of Az utilizes SoftPlan Architectural Design Software, a powerful design tool, to design and draft the plans for your project. We offer 3D renderings and views to help you visualize the space. Once approved, we will present you with the final drawings. These drawings will become the construction documents for your new home.
3D Renderings & Walk-Thru
3D renderings of your project bring the 2D floor plan to life. You can view different color schemes, space planning, and see how light and shadows affect the space. Also, clients can visualize cabinet layout, indoor and outdoor spaces, furniture placement, and so much more.
As a general contractor, we are responsible for providing all of the material, labor, equipment, and services necessary for the construction of the project. To get these tasks done, we hire specialized sub-contractors to perform portions of or all of the construction work.
Depending on the size of the project, responsibilities may include:
Filing for building permits
Securing the property
Providing temporary utilities on-site
Managing personnel on-site
Providing site surveying and engineering
Disposing/Recycling of construction waste
Monitoring schedules and cash flows
Maintaining accurate records as construction progresses.
Construction & Project Management
Construction Project Management is the overall planning, coordination, and control of a project from inception to completion. We aim to meet our client’s requirements to produce a functionally and financially viable project that is completed on time within authorized costs and required quality standards. The Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) says the 120 most common responsibilities of a Construction Manager fall into the following seven categories:
Project Management Planning
CM Professional Practice
New Home Construction
With the Construction documents complete, our sub-contractors will bid for the project. We have relationships with various contractors in all fields and are continually seeking new ones. By being proactive in this area, we have a diverse selection of tradespeople to choose from giving us the best quality at the best prices.
During the building process, we welcome you to visit the job site and view the construction of your project. Asking questions is the best way to become informed about your project. During construction, you may request to make changes. We work with our clients to ensure that most changes can be made depending on the task involved. If additional materials are needed, or an upgrade is requested, we work hard to keep pricing at a minimum. There are no hidden costs or surprises. We intend to make this process easy and comfortable for our clients and understand that building a home is a stressful situation.
